Spa Treatments

The secret to attaining skin that is youthful and revitalized requires following a regimen that may include a combination of medical grade skin care products, punctual and systematic skin rejuvenation treatments, and smart skin care habits, among them, avoiding excessive sun exposure. Beginning a skin rejuvenation program such as this at any age will help delay the necessity for a more invasive intervention later on. Certain skin rejuvenation treatments, such as potent chemical peels, medical microdermabrasions, and non-invasive laser treatments, when performed at regular intervals, will delay the onset of wrinkles and brown spots and keep skin smooth and even-toned, while stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen long after the treatment has concluded.

Micro-needling is a fractional micro-needling device with a unique spring-loaded disposable needle tip that uses an automated, vibrating stamp-like motion. The automated needling motion minimizes pain and discomfort, while increasing the effectiveness of treatments by promoting the even absorption of topicals into the skin. The Micro-needling invigorates damaged and aging skin by harnessing the mechanisms associated with the body’s natural wound healing processes. The process is called Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy. Each single disposable cartridge contains 11 tiny 33 gauge stainless steel needles. These needles are used to micro-injure the skin at very high speeds and at specific penetration lengths. By creating a small dermal injury to the skin, the body responds with a physiological process that stimulates fibroblasts to create collagen and elastin in the epidermis. This process improves skin thickness, color, texture and evenness.

Permanent Make-Up

Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as embroidery, micro-stroking, feather touch, and hair like strokes, is a form of permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigm

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyeliner and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids.

Most permanent make-up or micro-pigmentation procedures require one initial treatment with a second application in four weeks. Generally, permanent make-up takes between one to two hours to complete. The applications will generally need a touch-up refresher anywhere from three to ten years.

With most procedures, patients will experience mild discomfort with minimal swelling as a result. Clients often refer to the sensation as a “tight” or “pulling” sensation. Topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort.

Permanent make-up is a good option for clients who have allergies to cosmetic make-up. This is often the only alternative they have to make-up.

There will be a slight swelling and redness in the skin that will typically subside within a day. Most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately, except gardening, heavy exercise, and activities that cause you to perspire the first week. You should also avoid direct sunlight, wearing make-up and contact lenses for a couple days; also, avoid exposure to chlorinated or salt water for 3 weeks post-procedure. End results can be viewed by the end of eight weeks.

The procedures used in permanent make-up are non-surgical, so choosing a qualified practitioner to perform your permanent make-up procedure greatly reduces a number of risks. The delicate nature of many places where permanent make-up is applied requires an understanding of facial structures and anatomy. Visualizing the outcome of a permanent make-up procedure may be easier for individuals with extensive experience in cosmetic methods. Practitioners with a combined expertise as a make-up artist and medical aesthetics background are preferred.
